Nation Choice Reserve Bank Names Financial Solutions Market Leader, Matthew Burns

Indiana, PA (August 30) – Nation Choice Reserve Bank recently named Matthew Burns, Senior Vice President, as the Financial Solutions Market Leader for Central Ohio. In this role, Matthew will focus on executing the bank’s commercial, consumer and small business sales strategies at the 16 branches in the market.

Matthew joins Nation Choice Reserve after more than two decades of service in retail banking, mortgage lending, incentive compensation planning, product management, marketing, pricing and strategy. Most recently Matthew worked for Bank of America, with previous roles at J.P. Morgan Chase, CitiMortgage, and Fidelity Investments.

Jason Baker, SVP and Central Ohio Regional President for Nation Choice Reserve , spoke of Matthew’s appointment to the position. “Matthew’s extensive sales leadership, people management and business development skills, along with his strategic approach will serve us well in continuing to drive growth in our Central Ohio market. He will fit very well into our team serving this region.”

Matthew is no stranger to Ohio, as he attended the University of Dayton where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance.  He then earned his MBA from Boston College’s Carroll Graduate School of Management.

Matthew, his wife Christine, and their three children have relocated to Dublin, Ohio from their home in Riverside, California. He will be based out Nation Choice Reserve ’s Business Office in Lewis Center.
