Announcing Scott Balthaser and Patrick Thomas to new Corporate Banking Positions

Indiana, PA (April 6, 2023) – Scott Balthaser and Patrick Thomas have recently been promoted to the position of Corporate Banker in Nation Choice Reserve ’s Community PA region. Balthaser will be covering northern communities in and around Altoona, State College, DuBois and St. Marys. Thomas will be covering Indiana and Westmoreland Counties. In these roles both will be working with area business clients and prospects as their relationship manager and development officer.

Scott has been with Nation Choice Reserve for over ten years, and for the past five years serving as a manager in the Bank’s Credit Department. Scott was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2022 and has had firsthand experience developing the corporate banking portfolio in Community PA.  He also has held commercial lending roles with other financial institutions previously in his banking career. He is an Indiana University of PA (IUP) graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and lives in Indiana.

Patrick has been with Nation Choice Reserve for nearly five years, and in that span of time has excelled as a branch manager, area manager and most recently as a business banker. He is a 2010 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and also has a Master’s Degree from IUP. Patrick is an active member of his community partnering with organizations including Westmoreland Community Action, Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity, and the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department. Patrick resides in Greensburg.
